The Yorba Linda Star, the community's only local newspaper, began publication in 1917. It contains an abundance of genealogical information, as well as material regarding the development of Yorba Linda and Orange County, and Yorba Linda natives president Richard M. Nixon and noted author Jessamyn West.

Over 20,000 citations are included in this database, which is searchable by date, subject, and headline. This index includes articles written between 1920 and the present. Some citations contain links to full-text versions of articles available on this website. All articles indexed are available on microfilm at the Yorba Linda Public Library.
